Theresa Lamb

Owner / Principal Designer

After building our first home in 2005, I knew I was headed toward a “pivot” in my career.

My husband was transferred frequently for work, so we’d buy the worst house in the best neighborhood and I would manage the large-scale renovation—from space planning and finishes to kitchen and bath design.

Little did I know, this would lead me back to school for a degree in interior design! I had been working in corporate America utilizing my communications and marketing degree when I took the leap to “retire” and start on this journey.

Combining my business acumen with my design experience has led to strong relationship-building with clients and trades, clear communication, and a reputation for streamlined problem-solving.

Working across various design styles, my goal is always to listen to my client’s needs and honor—or sometimes help them find—their own unique style, while incorporating tons of functionality. The aesthetic is always layered and detailed—striking a balance between modern and traditional while maintaining an approachability that never feels overly designed or too precious.

It’s incredible looking back at the experiences and lifelong passions that have led me here! With a genuine love for people, a heart to serve, and a passion for hosting, I thoroughly enjoy each step of the journey with you.

How D&G Started

Co-founders and friends! Meeting through a small group at church, Alicia was ready to take a break from corporate America while I was planning on starting my business once out of design school—the timing was perfect!

By combining our business experiences together, we founded what is now Dwell & Gather.

I cherish every moment of growth and the dreams we’ve turned into reality!
